Face Mask Shortage

For those interested in helping with the face mask shortage:

UC Berkeley School of Public Health has created a real time database (link below) of US hospitals and other facilities calling for homemade face masks. Texas only has two hospitals listed as of today, and I know there are many more than that, so even if you don’t sew, you can help by sharing this database with any healthcare administrator or sewing enthusiast who might use it. If you are interested in helping sew face masks, there are many addresses listed where you can ship them.

Here is the database. It has detailed information for anyone interested in getting on the list:

Church Update

Church Members

As stated earlier in the week these are difficult decisions when it comes to not meeting at the building to worship and encourage one another. To support our community, The Elders have decided to cancel our services at the building on Sunday.

The Elders would like to encourage members to host others at your home for bible study and time of worship on Sunday at 11 am or time you determine. Please support the request to keep groups under 10.

We also have communion cups with bread to hand out to all that need one. We will be handing those out at the church Saturday at 10:30 am, please drive around to back by the kitchen door to pick those up. If you do not want to get out please text Brad at 940-631-2865 and we will get one to you.

If you have any questions or prayer request  please email those to Dana or Brad. We will send out announcements and prayer request on Saturday. Members are also reminded that the In Search of the Lord’s Way Program comes on Sunday Mornings at 7:30 on Channel 6, would also be a great resource that we support monthly.

Thankful for the church and God we serve,

The Elders

Church Update

Church Members

We value our time together each week on Wednesday and Sunday as a time of fellowship and renewal of our commitment to God and his work in our life and community. Yesterday the President requested to minimize meeting in groups of 10 or more. We have all been ask to do our part in helping minimize the spread of the virus. Therefore the elders have decided  to cancel the meal and services for this Wednesday night.

As for Sunday we are working on a plan to possibly meet in small groups. We will send more information later in the week.

We will try and check on our members, but please also check on each other and let the Elders, Deacons or Joe know if you need anything.

Sincerely,

The Elders
